<VV> [fastvair] Crank failure

Without a scientific examination it looks to me like the crack initiated in the fillet radius. Lots of previous talk about being sure the fillet radius is perfect before assembling engine. Guess you know that. Sorry about the failure but you did well in not pushing the engine after.

Okay folks, I put up my photos of my crank failure at the Mitty. As I suspected it was not in two pieces but close.
I dodged a bullet!
