The year Charlie Doerge & I ran the start / finish line at Summit Point, we saw the exact same thing happen on more than one car running fiberglass trunk lids. I know I spoke with a couple of the drivers and told them to duct tape up the front of their cars. Yea, looks crude, but you don't want the drag or worse, to crack a trunk lid.
