No. The whole assy; backing plate and all, are removed from the car and set 
in this jig, and the press pushs out the axle stub, and everything falls 
apart.

Yep, we got it.  So, um, is that the direction to use the jig - I'm assuming 
I would remove the backing plate from the hub and place it in the center, 
then the yoke goes through the space at the top created where the tops of 
the four shoes come together?
