It does look like that #6 rod doesn't match the #4 & #5 -- in addition 
to no balance filing, the number is upside down compared to the other 
two, so it certainly doesn't "look" like a virgin engine -- who knows?  
It broke!  Stuff happens ...

I've never liked the sharp edges around those counter weight balance 
holes, but haven't ever paid for any fancy lab work to check for stress 
risers w & w/o ...
