 You'll need at least a 25-30 ton press to remove the crank gear. Otherwise, that 6 tonner would be fine.

wrist pins, cam/crank gears, ball joints). What capacity press would I need? 
Harbor Freight has a 6 ton for $80. I figured I'd ask the experts from VV.
