Missouri issues 2 plates also but if you own a truck licensed over 12000 
lbs. (that is GCVW) you only get 1 plate and it MUST be placed on the 
FRONT. This causes problems even with cops in Missouri much less in 
other states. My wife got pulled over by a cop in Indiana last summer 
who insisted she HAD to have a rear plate. He didn't like it when she 
told him he would have to take that up with the MO Dept of Revenue. He 
issued her a warning to get a rear plate on the truck!
