<VV> Driver's Test

I took my learner's permit Driver's test in my Dad's 61 2-door Corvair back
in 1972 (15-1/2 years old). A few hours later that same day, I soloed in
Dad's 1951 Cessna 170. 6-months later, my 16th birthday was on a Saturday. I
took and passed my Private Pilot check ride. Sunday, I had to ask my
girlfriend to drive me to the airport so I could take her for a ride.
Monday, I went to the DMV and took and passed my driver test (in Dad's 61
Corvair)and got my full driver's license. When I got home, My Mom & Dad gave
me the 61 Corvair. No, they didn't give me the 170, but I had my own set of
keys<SMILE>.
