I agree that 1200 ppm of ZDDP is where we want to be.  As long as they're available, I'd just as soon use an oil for gasoline engines rather than diesel, but the SL designation is for gasoline engines so no problem there.  One nice thing about Amsoil is they have weights more suitable for colder weather.
