<VV> Corvair compression readings

Wait a minute. Compressing a gas will raise the temperature. Even if
we figure that the compression is an *adiabatic process* there is still
a considerable temperature rise. A 10:1 cr wold raise the temperature
by 372 degrees centigrade. Remember diesels? So 8:1 will give you
about 135 psi with a 889 cam. By the way a stock starter won't turn
over an engine with a 10.7:1 cr with a mild cam when it is warm.
