GM wheels of the same era are also 4 3/4" - 5 bolts, and have been widely
used on Corvairs.
The rim widths vary, and together with increased diameters, can cause issues
with the tires rubbing the inside of the front wheel openings
Add this to wider tire profiles and you'll find there's a lot to consider,
although I think the advantages are worth the hassle
Inside wheel wells seams are sometime mangled to bend them away from larger
tires - aarrgghh !
