<VV> Corner Weights

After reading the posts on corner weights, I was wondering about a few things. 

Do you pre-test your scales for accuracy? 

No one mentioned tire pressures. 

Is there a point in recording corner weights if you leave out the driver? I guess a driver may add 5 - 7% more weight and that would impact the corner weights. 

I see mention of a quarter or a half tank of fuel and wonder how that was calculated. Was the tank bone dry and a know amount of fuel added? 

Myself, I wouldn't worry too much about the total package weight as I would worry as to where (what corners) the weight was on. 

Reading Michael's post on FastVairs (Convention News), he went faster than the last time, in a car that was 200 pounds heavier. Interesting, isn't it?
