Was it pea green and sitting on the right side of the parking lot at a Vair Fair ? Probably at the same show that the Super Monza was. If so I think I have some pictures of it here someplace, showing the horn slots.

This isn't gonna be an easy task.
The oldest Corvair I ever saw was a project car on a trailer at a
show in NC, VIN 1004xx. That must have been almost 2 decades
ago. It was kinda rough but complete and not a rustbucket, and
certainly not so bad that a determined effort couldn't have made it a
nice car.
