<VV> Super Chevy show at Gatlinburg/ Price of cars

I am going to the super chevy show tomorrow, tonight along the strip in Pigeon Forge there are cars parked along the strip.  I was very shocked to see the prices people value their Cars at.  I can take a 67 chevelle home for $ 2700.00 obo.  I  know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I thought it was very cheap, and that was the going price on most of the cars I saw..
