Did notice though, that size of battery cables are a little less than original.

 Corvairs need very little "cranking Amps"..  Try cleaning EVERY  connection of the cables.




 Also.. read the voltage at the starter's solenoid during a crank... on BOTH cars!


Negative lead on the starter's housing.
