I had a AMC Eagle SX4 one time with a BW 5 speed trans and it was great
until I got in a traffic jam one day, where you move up and stop, move up
and stop. After about forty minutes of that and I thought my leg was going
to cramp from pushing the strong clutch in so much !
New modern automatic transmissions have a more positive engagement so I like
them but the two speed Corvair is a true slush-a-matic and not very exciting
to drive but I guess someday I may have to drive an automatic Corvair.
I will drive my 4-speeds as long as I can.
