<VV> electrical/ignition problems cont'd / Coil check

To TEST a coil....  


remove wire from NEGATIVE... check this wire to see if you have a ground...otherwise  use a jumper from NEG  to touch to ground


turn on ignition


 Pull coil's High Tension lead from  Distributor cap... and hold end 1/4"  from metal / ground


Jumper / connect NEG  to Ground..hold for 1 second...  remove


As you remove from ground..spark should jump from HT  lead to ground.


If this shows it's working...  problem is your points /
