There have been some posts about the Hilton Head Concours. The following letter should clarify some details about the Corvair involvement. Some people have done a lot of work to secure participation by Corvairs at the event. There is still a chance for some more of us to participate in a VIP parking area and to get reduced price tickets to the event. Please contact Lilian ASAP if you want to take advantage of the opportunity.

In late February, Tom Hulsey and I were contacted and asked to help them find 10 Corvairs to enter the HILTON HEAD CONCOURS d'Elegance & MOTORING FESTIVAL.  At the same time, I secured a spot in the Car Club Jamboree for 15 Corvairs.  The cars for the Concours and Jamboree have all been selected.  This is an invitation only event and we have been through a long process.

Also available is a Cruise-In section for clubs wanting to come and not be in the show.  I am working on getting attendees for this.  You will get tickets for 2 days and a V.I.P. parking pass for $34 per person.  I invite you to go on line and look at the web site and see if you are interested in attending.  I feel that this is a wonderful opportunity to show case our Corvairs.  Chevrolet is on of the honored Marques this year and because of the 50 year anniversary they are spot lighting the Corvair.
