<VV> 1967 Corvair Monza fuel pump - if we knew then what we know now ...

We ALL know know more NOW than GM did back then - such as market the Corvair
as the car it was (and still is) and not as a "cheap economy car" ?

We may be on budgets, but we will spend $5 or $50 to improve our Corvairs,
but GM would have to multiply that by 100,000 cars.

So, we spring for Viton O-rings and electric fuel pumps (that they didn't
even have then, at least affordable ones), but GM wouldn't spend $4 on a
transverse leaf spring for the 1,047,195 EMs from 1960 to 1963 !

I'm thinking even GM knows more than GM did in 1964 - just look at the 1965
Corvair !!!!

In my opinion, of course !
Charlie
