i had a pocket hoist at home shop for a while , but found it not suitable  
for corvairs.  then the shop i used to own just upgraded several of the  
hoists and offered me any of the old ones.  i passed. i find for my use and  my 
back , i like the simple air powered end lift jack. grabs corvairs  just  
fine with or without bumpers.
i lucked out and found one cheap used.  so far i love it. i also use  it to 
lower motors from the bench .
