<VV> 1967 Corvair Monza fuel pump

My electric pump only runs in the presence of oil pressure via a pressure
switch and an impact switch that kills the pump in the event of a sharp
jolt. BTW, virtually every new car sold is equipped with electric fuel
delivery in one way or another.

I'm unable to provide a direct answer on that as I've never had an electric
pump in one of my Corvairs. On the other hand, what are the issues
regarding burning you car (and perhaps yourself) to the ground in the event
of an accident where the electric pump continues to run?

Are you agreeable enough to say that there are +s and -s on both sides of
this question?

Later, JR
