For one thing, NEVER trust anyone who says you don't need to evacuate the system. ANY air in there will seriously diminish performance, and it only takes a tiny amount of moisture to freeze in the expansion valve and cause system corrosion. Propane does work as a refrigerant, but DAYUM, would you want a couple pounds of this near your engine?

Doesn't gasoline have the same characteristics as propane? An A\C system
has a couple of ounces of refrigerant, but the gas tank holds many gallons

Isn't Envorosafe propane based?
And wouldn't that be highly dangerous to use around spark ignition engines?
And wouldn't it be unsafe to use in Corvairs?
