Hi everyone,
I am currently installing wheel opening /well moldings on our 1965 Corvair Monza.
My problem is that it?s not clear to me which molding sits under or over the adjoining molding
and I cannot find any printed information on the subject.
THE FOLLOWING SEEMS TO ME TO BE THE CORRECT WAY TO INSTALL 1965 CORVAIR WHEEL WELL MOLDINGS?
(Remember that these moldings are made up of 10 pieces)
1. FRONT MOLDINGS:
Consists of 2 pieces which together form the complete front wheel well molding for each side.
Front Installation (I think is correct?)
The larger section slides over the top of the one single smaller section.
Or in other words the single small section slides under the larger section.
2. REAR MOLDINGS:
Consists of 3 pieces which together form the complete rear wheel well molding for each side.
Rear Installation (I think is correct?)
The larger section sides over the top of the two smaller sections.
Or in other words the two smaller sections sides under the larger section.
Is the above correct or should the smaller sections fit on top of the larger sections?
Would be interested in everyone?s opinion as I want to install these moldings correctly.
Regards
