A little more information would help.  Has the car been setting for 
awhile? If the car has been setting for a few days, months, years it can 
have tappett noise for up to half an hour on startup.  The lifters set 
horizonaltly and drain down over time.  Has it been running fine and 
just started this? Give us a little history on your problem and we can 
better help.
