Saab wasn't the only one -- I was in high school when Dad bought a DKW
-- FWD, three cylinders, three coils, three sets of points, add oil to
the gas tank -- the only car we had that didn't get stuck in the
driveway that winter, and all it ever had was street tires. 5.60 x 15
style. An odd little beastie ...
One coil per cylinder is not a new idea ...
All my pics of this stuff are still on 35 mm slides, including the one I
want of our old 95 van at the summit (9733 ft) of Steens Mountain in the
snow in July, 1978 (two years after the women's LSR was set in the
desert flat below it), sorry,
