This thread is the main reason why VV should become a forum accessible only
to CORSA members.
An interested Corvair enthusiast, non member, who first shows up on the
CORSA site is directed to this forum and on a day like today, after perusing
a thread like this, can easily decide to blow off the entire idea of joining
up, with all the animosity going on between members and non-members.
Suggestion:
The CORSA home page should be modified, ASAP, to show non-members the link
to the new Corvair Forum only, which is a much more appropriate environment
for an outsider perusing the possibility of getting involved in Corvairs on
a national club level.
Then, once they make the decision to join and are members in good standing
with an access code, they can take part in these VV discussions, if they'd
like to.
Plus, it would serve as a strong limitation to the sort of uninvited comment
seen below:
as long as this list is available for NON CORSA MEMBERS, You can't do
anything about it.
But at least we wouldn't wind up effectively washing our dirty laundry in
virtual public, as we are now!
C'mon, close the door guys, there's a membership-chilling draft coming
in........
