I found this past posting from awhite500 at comcast.net:
Well I found out that the oil pressure switch for our corvair
is an mopar,1964 dart #PS-30 the only thing that has to be done, is
the end has changes, and it is set at 8-13 PSI , It was in our CORSA
COMMUNIQUE, IN 2007.I got it at auto zone for six bucks.
Putting in a somewhat higher pressure switch is a good idea - the
stock switch is essentially just telling you there isn't any pressure
at all. 10 PSI at idle is low for a Corvair, but if something's just
a little wrong this will let you know to shut it down and check for a
problem. I'm thinking a 20 psi switch would be a pretty good choice
as well, a good engine should really have that much pressure all the
time.
