<VV> front cross member question '61

I've been looking at these lately as well, I think this is all correct:

 - '60 and '61, no swaybar
 - '62 the swaybar was optional, so they all have dimples but not all are drilled.
 - '63 and '64 should be drilled for swaybar mounts.

If you're bolting in a complete front end, '63 and '64 have self adjust brakes which use different backing plates and drums.

If you use a late front suspension, it's wider than an early since the control arms are longer, and the bolt pattern on the wheels is different (read: major hassles).  If you just want to use a late crossmember with early arms it's possible, but again you should do some research.
