In the mid-70's, the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Corsa had a  pair of 
car shows inside the Eastridge Mall in San Jose, CA.  At one  of the shows, 
the Movie company that owned the cars from "The Great  Race" displayed the 
Corvair powered car of Professor fate. The  self-contained power-pack of the 
Corvair was perfect for the special attribute  of the car which was to have 
the body rise up from the wheels into the air  - I guess to get away from 
anybody at ground level - and still drive around.  Cool! Since then, I have 
seen the car -or one of them -displayed at some theme  park.
