<VV> Illinois Special Event plates for the Corvair

It's not often that two of my passions come together.

There are two organizations that are offering plates honoring the 50th anniversary of the Corvair in Illinois.

Special event plates are good for only 60 days, and you have to carry the regular plates in the car.

The plates usually cost about 35 a pair.  You have to send the application and a copy of your current registration (must expire within a month of the expiry date on the plate or later, i.e. the first one expires 7/18/10, so you must be registered through June 2010 or later.)

Any other states doing any special event plates for the Corvair?
