As someone (of many thousands probably) who drove both the '60s Falcon and  
Corvairs I can say I respect the Falcon for being a very successful 
automobile  and both are worth owning.  My Grandfather and uncle both had Falcons 
and  one of the cars I learned to drive with was a Falcon.  But only the  
Corvair was worth driving in my experience both  then and now.  You got a nicer 
interior for the money in the Falcon, but  there was no comparison when it 
came to handling, braking, looks and fun on  the road.
