You  should ask for a '78 nova 63 amp alternator.  Use the front housing and fan from a Corvair alternator and the rest of nova alternator. 

Make sure you inspect the bearing.  I picked the best design of the two. (your choice) and pack it with Amsoil synthetic grease prior to assembly. 

It's and easy swap.  Done it many times and like the energizer bunny, still going..... Also, the corsa "tech guide" has a nifdy article on how to do it.
