<VV> Starter Solenoid "R" terminal

My question - when cranking the engine (Start Terminal), does 12 Volts appear on the Run terminal? Or is it switched when the key is release?

 Only when cranking... switches  off when the key is released.  It bypasses the resistance circuit.
