Ah, yes, I remember it well !

My tunes were Also Sprach Zarasthustra and the Blue Danube from the sound track of "2001" played on the Altec Lansings from my home stereo bolted to the back of the divider between "cabins" in one of mine (the other two were 1960 Caddies, but I liked the '60 Buick best.

Wish I still had her - 400+ ci and the smoothest ride ever - great for great music !

Someone once stopped me to wonder about the sheer size of this car.

When he saw my "I Love My Corvair" sticker on the rear "vault" door, he queried, "I didn't know Corvair made a station wagon ?"

I was at a loss for words, and didn't say, "Well, they Corvair does have a wagon, but this is not one of them."

My snowmobile fit snugly in the back (w/o the windscreen) but it probably wouldn't fit into my Lakewood of yesteryear !
