Enlarged a set of 110 carbs 1/8 inch [at the venturi ] richened the jets to .062 , and drove the car for over a year without a problem. Quit driving it coz I lent it to a friend , who managed to catch it on fire [somehow]. Now it is in the shop waiting it's turn to be refurbed.

Hello, Joe,
In my opinion, your best bet is to use the 140hp heads and cap-off the
secondary carb pads. Then use two STANDARD 1965-66 HV carbs.
Again, just my opinion, but you want to STAY AWAY from non-Corvair carbs
since they add another problem of matching them to the Corvair engine's
requirements. And stay away from HV carb mods too, since all of the suggested
mods LOWER the low speed performance by adding high-speed air flow capability
( that's what adding to the venturi size does).
Regards,
Bob Helt
