<VV> Virtual Corvair Club cobweb site?

Hi all,

I discovered this site: www.virtualcorvairclub.com

I signed up and never got an email to confirm my registration... I 
contacted the webmaster and got no reply. Then I noticed that (on the 
main page anyway) that the newest post was June 2010. Is the site a 
cobweb site or does anyone here know what's up with it? It kind of feels 
like that little desert town in the movie Andromeda Strain where 
everybody just suddenly died.
