I'm sorry to report that I just checked the Las Vegas weather forecast and the afternoon temperature will be all the way down to the low 60s later this week. There may even be a slight chance of a shower. I will have to put the Corvair in the garage and turn on the house heat pretty soon. :-)

I must admit those Las Vegas afternoons in August are a bit toasty. That
can be convertible top up weather to keep from burning your booty and the
reason I put the A/C in the 65 Corsa vert. Today it will be sunny and near
70. Stores don't stock snow shovels here. This past Sunday morning it was
like a balmy spring day back on the east coast. Hundreds of cars showed up
for a local show 'n shine.
