Yes. There is such a thing as factory air on a Corvair. You could have ordered it from the factory when specially ordering your car (from '61 until '67). You also could have purchased the dealer kit which was pretty much the same as the factory kit but installed after the fact. A/C was never offered on the FC but some folks have certainly installed it. All of those were truly aftermarket kits though some folks used original parts. Not too long ago was an article in the Corsa Communique about A/C installed in a van (Steve Simon I believe). Are you a member of the club getting the magazine? If not, well worth joining.
