<VV> GM had every reason to discontinue the Corvair

I understand the Turbo-Hydramatic 250 was designed for use in small cars, and GM 
may have had plans to use it in the Corvair.  I believe it was used in the Vega 
and its 4 cylinder siblings...Bill Hershkowitz
