Tim, That's a long ways to go to come back EMPTY HANDED. I sure agree with Ken about making it happen. But how about driving it home? Fix it in Florida just enough to make it roadworthy?

Let the wheels hang over the edges.  Make it high enough that the body is over the trailer tires if needed.  Think how narrow the trailers are that carry pontoon boats!  Chain the Ultra down with binders and drive carefully ... in  a safe and sane manner and it will safely follow you home.
