because people had a hard time telling where zero lash was cold
and without the engine running.

I always suggest to the people that don't understand what it is they are doing...


Use apiece of paper between the stem and rocker....no slip means 0  or less lash.


I use my finger on the top of the rocker..I can feel when clearance reaches ZERO.




 I never could tell by spinning the pushrod..
