<VV> Disappointment in part - Update

I wanted to give an update because things have changed a little. The  
warping does seem to have decreased, after just one day in the hot sun. Still  
stand by my other observations.
 
If the chroming process causes the warping, why not offer the part without  
the chrome like finish? I'm considering painting the part, which would mean 
 removing the chrome like finish.
 
Like I said, the best part is that it's not broken like the original one.  
If I keep saying that maybe I'll believe it...
