Quite true, but where we all gain from this person's lack of foreshight is in helping to make Social Security more solvent, especially if this person has worked nearly a full life before he foolishly leaves it.  That's the same reason why I tell those people who smoke that I'm recommending that our government pass out FREE cigarettes to all who will take them.
