You mention two separate adjustments to the steering box, one (#13 on figure
8) is accessible from the trunk, and the other (#2 on figure 8 - end play ?)
from is accessible from below.

Do both require removing the pitman arm to adjust, or just the worm shaft
bearing adjustment ?

Can the 'lash adjustment' (#13) be made without removing the pitman arm to
adjust it ?

Or is this easy enough to replace and I can use this one as another 
'academic exercise' ?
