gas station.  I think I saw a shot from middle of the back seat vantage of  a 
blue early convertible.>

If so, I guess you saw the dash shot at the :22 second mark.  Nope,  that's 
not a Corvair.  I think it's the DeSoto that appears earlier in the  
commercial.  But, I gotta admit that the dash fascia around the instrument  
cluster sure does look similar to that of an early Corvair!
