Scotty, take a look at "*Lower Cost Electronic Fuel injection and Corvairs*"
thread on the Corvair Center forum. There are 10 pages of information and
disussion on this subject. I started the thread and it has had almost 5800
hits and 188 discussions on the ins and outs of efi, who's done it and who
is doing it. There are several others on the forum on EFI as well.

If you log in and find that thread, you can set up a notification for
whenever anyone adds a discussion.

My Carb Adapters are coming from Ray Sedman of American PI, for about $210 a
set of two. He is looking for others to get in on the production run, so if
you are interested, nows the time. My 145 C.U. 2.4L engine will get 4 18 lbs
per hour High pressure injectors on top of bored out carbs (remove the
venturi) which should give me 117 HP.

I have been aquiring parts and am about to start the first phase of the
conversion by adding the harmonic balancer, rear mount and mount plate off a
64, to my 62. First, the harmonic has to be drilled to trigger the VR sensor
like what is on the forum. Ted Brown developed the technique, it is also
used by Rad Sedman, but Ray has a different sensor setup to go with the
engine computer he sells, but he has done a variety of these.

When I actually begin, I will announce a new thread on the Corvair Forum
which will have detailed instructions and pictures on what I do. I've taken
EFI from a 90-92 Firebird/Camaro V-6 Stick car, which is a 1227730 ECM and
accompaning sensors. If you have signed up, you will get a notification.

Scotty. Got Pics? What have you designed?

regards

Mark Durham
