<VV> Battery charger with 50 Amp "Engine Start" enough ?

This 50 A "Engine Start" / charger is designed to jump start an engine with 
a dead battery from house current, with no time to charge, i.e., just what I 
want.

 Yes! with a GOOD  Battery that is discharged...  and a good starter, etc!


 a 6 amp charger left on for 15 minutes will normally recharge enough for the Corvair to start...


 Yes, solenoids are available at your local FLAPS....  generic GM


OLDER  solenoids can be "fixed good as new"  in 5 minutes....  the Copper disc can be reversed!


 Newer solenoids are peened on..  you lose!


Also.. slow cranking...  lights don't go dim while cranking???


Could be just one bad brush in the motor itself.




Tip.. try reading ALL  the posts that come thru VV....  it's all been written 100 times....
