Actually, it's pretty easy to get rid of compared to some.

Reboot, F8, safe boot, START | RUN | rstrgui.exe, and roll back to the
most recent restore point before the infection.

This is a little known and little used parachute Microsoft put into XP
and later versions of windows.

Note that those instructions may not be exactly right for your
computer, but look up System Restore under Help and you will find it.
