Hi all...I have a write-up for my water injection system, but I need some  more time, as I am planning on upgrading the system with a temperature switch that will turn the system on automatically when the engine warms up.

Currently, I watch the oil temp gauge, and when it hits around 120 degrees, I flip the switch.  That takes around 10 minutes of driving when the outside temperature is around 50-60 degress Fahrenheit.

With the WI system off, I notice that after that point, the engine will begin to ping under hard acceleration, but with the WI system on, it NEVER pings no matter how hard you press on the go-pedal.

It is critical in my opinion, that the WI system be capable of fully automatic operation.  In the event someone else drives the car, there is no guarantee that they will energize the system after the motor warms up, with the obvious danger.
