i think input from the major vendors should be included in your planning of 
 conventions. looking back at the several i have attended , one of the more 
 successful , enjoyable conventions  was planned mostly by a vendor and his 
 group..
there should be more guidance protocol from past conventions for help in  
planning. some sort of guide book , updated at times , like the tech  guide.
  i do not remember so much overlapping of sessions being needed at  most 
of the past functions.some of us want to be at most of them , along with  
other offerings of the area. (and still have time to eat?) 
a guide might be made partially from past program schedules that seemed to  
work well for future "reference"?
