<VV> 65/66 wiring harness

Jeff,

When I changed mine I thought that the connectors would only allow me to
hook up everything correctly. This is true for the most part except
for three connectors which are the same except for wire colors and I mixed
them up. In my case, I had no brake lights and when I pushed the brake pedal
the accessory circuit was energized. I had no fuse problem.

The wires going to the brake switch should be the orange and white wires. If
you have the orange and yellow or if you have the white and yellow, you have
it wrong. The yellow wire is for the radio, at least that is the way I have
it. But the orange wires and the white wire are what goes to the brake light
switch.

As for blowing fuses, you may have the white and yellow wires on the switch,
which are both hot wires I believe. Hopefully getting the right wires on
the brake light switch will solve all problems.
